STRUMMIN’ FOR SOUP: A RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

Our 4th Annual Soup Contest was a great success. For the first time ever, there was a waiting list for Chefs to participate, over a hundred people attended, and $3000 was raised for Guitars over Guns. Rob Newman and Gary Ressler kept the crowd laughing, Guitars over Guns provided entertainment, and our 12 Chefs delighted us with nourishing and delicious soups.

The winners were…

  • 1st Prize:  Allison Greenfield for her Barley, Beef and Leek on Fleek Soup
  • 2nd Prize:  Sharlane Packar and Judi Broad for their Mushroom Barley Soup
  • 3rd Prize:  Dana Grodin for her Red Soup with Brisket and Creole Matzah Balls
