Sisterhood offers the women of Temple Beth Sholom a fun and engaging environment to meet each other, develop friendships and support our temple. With monthly events, we provide opportunities to learn, grow and be more interconnected with each other and our community. What we do throughout the year is moving us toward a goal of being a more relational, joyful, spiritual and learned Jewish community. We proudly fall under the larger national organization of Women of Reform Judaism.

Come Paint with Us!

We will each be creating a beautiful and colorful individual hamsa on a 16"x24" canvas.

Simply sign up and then drive through the synagogue’s front driveway on Tuesday, November 17, between 4 and 6 pm – and pop your trunk. A member of Sisterhood (wearing a mask and gloves) will place all the necessary supplies for the project in your trunk – and off you go!

Cost to participate is $36 per hamsa.

We encourage you to invite your family members and friends to participate as well!

To RSVP and get an idea of what we will be creating, visit:

(RSVP password is “PARTY”)

Deadline to sign up is Thursday, November 12, 2020.

If you have any questions, please contact Judy Barredo at (305) 298-4778.

We look forward to painting with you!!

Looking Back–another wonderful year

TBS Sisterhood Membership
Sisterhood membership is paid separately from annual commitment from Temple Beth Sholom. The cost of membership begins with “Leah” at $54. If you are able to commit to a higher level in order to further help support our mission, please select “Rachel” or “Sarah” membership levels.

A portion of your Sisterhood dues is allocated to help the projects and programs of the WRJ (Women of Reform Judaism) and the YES Fund (Youth, Education, and Special Projects). Both groups strengthen the institutions of our Reform Movement and ensure the future of Reform Judaism.

Yes, I want to be a Sister!
