Let Justice Roll!
PACT- People Acting for Community Together
If I am not for myself, who will be for me?
When I am only for myself, what am I? If not now, when? - Rabbi Hillel

Temple Beth Sholom is a proud member of PACT, the largest interfaith community in Miami-Dade County working together to make long-lasting change. We believe in building relationships across faith, racial, and socioeconomic lines to bring about justice and address our most pressing community concerns.
Together with the 39 other PACT congregations, we have accomplished the following:
- Worked alongside the County Mayor to implement a 5 year plan to provide affordable housing for Miami’s low-income residents.
- Advocated for criminal justice reform that has resulted in 23,000 fewer youth arrests over the past 5 years.
- Brought a nationally proven gun violence intervention program into multiple cities throughout Miami-Dade.
None of this is possible without people power! During our annual Nehemiah Action, we bring together over 1500 people from all our member congregations to stand together in unity and ensure our public officials adopt solutions to our concerns.
Fighting injustice is how we love our neighbor as we love ourselves.
Will you join the fight with us?
