The Grade 9 curriculum will integrate Jewish principles and texts with “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens.” This will help our teens build self-confidence, interpersonal skills, and 21st century global confidence while enhancing community and elevating individual achievements. Our learning will include field trips/outings so that students can connect and apply these principles outside of the congregation. The Grade 9 experience also includes a jTravel trip to New Orleans!

The Grade 10 experience is confirmation, a community journey that reaffirms each member’s commitment to lifelong Jewish engagement and learning. This includes the annual confirmation trip to the L’Taken Social Justice Seminar in Washingon, D.C., which exposes our teens to a variety of public policy issues, Jewish values, and advocacy skills, culminating with a day of direct advocacy with members of Congress on Capitol Hill. The confirmation experience wraps up with a class-led service that is always beautiful and moving.

In Grades 11 & 12, there are opportunities to build your resume and character through a Jewish lens via fellowship programs.

Braman Fellowship: a bi-monthly Israel advocacy fellowship that focuses on dialogue and interchange surrounding topics that confront American teens on college campuses and beyond. Acceptance includes AIPAC Policy Conference as well as stipend throughout college. Application acquired through Rabbi Morrison.

Justice League Fellowship: a bi-monthly social justice fellowship that focuses on creating change in our environment, both physically and metaphorically. Through physical justice projects as well as advocacy training, teens will learn what it takes to truly make change in our world. International mission work is a possibility with acceptance. Application acquired through Rabbi Morrison.

jTravel trip to New York City (April 26–28, 2019): One of jTravel’s best trips—now only for grades 11 and 12  explore EVERYTHING, eat EVERYTHING, learn from EVERYTHING—c’mon, its New York City!
