In 2003, 120 Temple Beth Sholom families created the Circle of Giving Society to ensure the financial stability of our temple and guarantee the inclusiveness of our programs. Circle of Giving recognizes those who give $4,000 or more through their Annual Commitment to Temple Beth Sholom. You may join Circle of Giving at any point during the year, including when submitting your Annual Commitment form to start or renew membership with Temple Beth Sholom. Donations to our High Holy Day Freewill Appeal will enhance your total Annual Commitment.

Funds raised by the Circle of Giving allow Temple Beth Sholom to provide vital resources for members who are unable to pay the full Annual Commitment or service fees. This includes:

  • assisting our older members with financial need due to fixed incomes
  • subsidizing our younger members as they begin their lives in our community
  • helping families and individuals with limited means or other hardships

Circle of Giving Recognition Levels

  • Sustainer     $4,000 to $5,499
  • Guardian      $5,500 to $9,999
  • Benefactor   $10,000 to $17,999
  • Pillar             $18,000 and above

If you are currently paying the standard dues of $3,750 or are a Temple Beth Sholom Innovative School (TBSIS) family where your standard dues are included in your tuition, it is only an additional $250 per year to become a Sustainer in the Circle of Giving. Circle of Giving donors are recognized in Temple Beth Sholom publications.

We thank those who continue to generously support this effort. Please consider joining or renewing your commitment to our Circle of Giving today.

To confirm your participation or for more information, please email or call Director of Advancement Katy Boyask: 305.538.7231 ext. 375.

Workplace Matching Gifts: Many companies offer matching-gift programs and can increase the impact of your donation. Your company or your significant other’s job may offer a match. A matching gift will be counted toward your Annual Commitment.
