Circle of Giving

In 2003, 120 Temple Beth Sholom families created the Circle of Giving to ensure the financial stability of our temple and guarantee the inclusiveness of our programs. Circle of Giving recognizes full-time, full dues paying members who give an additional contribution of $250 or more through their Annual Commitment to Temple Beth Sholom.

You may join Circle of Giving at any point during the year, including when submitting your Annual Commitment form to start or renew membership with Temple Beth Sholom. Donations to our General Fund, High Holy Day Appeal, Yizkor & Yahrzeit, and Book of Memory will enhance your total Annual Commitment.

If you are a member family of the Innovative School of Temple Beth Sholom whereby your standard dues are included, and you pay full tuition, please consider donating an additional $250 or more per year to join the Circle of Giving.

Funds raised by the Circle of Giving allow Temple Beth Sholom to provide vital resources for members who are unable to pay the full Annual Commitment or service fees. This includes:

  • assisting our older members with financial need due to fixed incomes
  • subsidizing our younger members as they begin their lives in our community
  • helping families and individuals with limited means or other hardships
