Shabbat School is an important part of the Rabbi Leon Kronish School for Living Judaism. Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade enjoy an age-appropriate Shabbat experience every Saturday during the regular school year. Because it is a children’s Shabbat experience, Shabbat School differs from the Mid-week Hebrew program. An enrichment-filled day consists of Tefillah, story-telling, a study of the weekly Torah portion, music, drama, current events, special-themed mornings, and different grade-level curricular objectives. Parents will are invited to participate with their children in weekly Tefillah and then joining one of our Rabbis for coffee and discussion in the Ulam Hashalom. As well, there will be family education mornings where parents will join their child for the entire morning of experiential learning.
