Every year, Temple Beth Sholom collects thousands of pounds of food on Yom Kippur for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
Do you think we can outdo ourselves?
Facts & Figures from the Daily Bread Food Bank website:

· The City of Miami is the poorest major city in the United States.
· 42% of the children in the City of Miami live in homes with incomes below the poverty level.

The nation of Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. 80% of the population in Haiti is living under the poverty line. The immense devastation of the January 12, 2010 earthquake left many Haitians without shelter, clothing and food. Temple Beth Sholom is collecting gently used men's, women's and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories during the High Holidays. Please bring your donation anytime between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and make a difference in the lives of the Haitian community.
