Dear Friends:
The High Holy Days offer us opportunities for reflection, confession, forgiveness, and God-willing, another year for change. On Kol Nidre, I challenged us all to use this time to begin anew, to wake up our Jewish souls. Let us not hit the proverbial snooze button, instead let's all dedicate ourselves to waking up, to growing our Jewish souls.
I am asking that you join me in making a commitment to growing your Jewish soul (neshama) through acts of Mitzvot.
Throughout this Hebrew calendar year 5773, I'm asking you to choose from ten (10) possibilities, stretching your soul by committing to one in each of three categories, along with a bonus Tzedakah pledge. You may add alternative commitments of your own in the comments box.
